Chris Summons of Sheringham Construction combines his architectural training and quality craftsmanship to construct beautifully designed sustainable houses.

 

Having chosen to move his young family from Melbourne back home to his roots in North East Victoria, Chris relocated Sheringham Construction to Yackandandah in August 2013.

 

Chris brings extensive tertiary and trade qualifications, as well as years of building experience to the region. He has also developed a novel way of working with his clients to ensure they get the very best from him and their architect.

 

Using ‘Consultant Architect Design’ workshops Chris, the clients and a consultant architect meet face-to-face and work together to discuss the project, where the client’s wishes, site analysis and sustainability considerations are all put on the table to develop a design ready for costing and building.

 

This efficient use of architectural services, and Chris’ skills in developing and interpreting both client’s needs and architectural design mean that projects can be delivered cost effectively with maximum impact.
